Christine Marie's Journal Process Introduction
There are lots of times when journaling can really help us out. Think about when you go through a rough breakup, lose someone close, get fired, or deal with a divorce. Forgiving and letting go is key to making it work, so if you're still super angry or feeling stubborn, it might be a good idea to hold off until those feelings cool down before diving into the tips in this blog..
It's time for you to release the past to make way for your future.
Where Do You Start?
Get ready to kick things off by writing a letter to the person or situation on your mind! No need to stress about sending it... this is just for you. Sure, technically writing a letter isn't the same as journaling, but it's all about the approach you take. That's why Christine Marie's Journal process is so effective!

HOW TO WRITE YOUR LETTER OR JOURNAL
Consider which situations might lead to remorse or regret. Be completely honest with yourself. Write these journals using pen and paper. Don't censor your thoughts, and don't worry about spelling or punctuation - just write! Typically, people spend 15 to 30 minutes per session, writing in the same place each day. Take your time; there's no need to pressure yourself into writing something profound. Simply express your thoughts and feelings about the situation. Remember, this is solely for you!
In The Letter You Must Describe:
The Circumstances
Describe the events that took place and express your emotions during the incident. Detail your feelings and experiences during this extremely distressing period. You may include interactions and conversations that occurred. To fully capture everything, you should almost relive the experience..
Understanding the Duality of Perspectives
Recognize that there are always two sides to every story. This fundamental truth serves as a reminder that our experiences are often shaped by a multitude of factors, including our emotions, beliefs, and the actions of others. When we find ourselves embroiled in a conflict or a misunderstanding, it is crucial to step back and consider not just our own viewpoint, but also the perspective of the other party involved. This duality can help illuminate the reasons behind their actions and feelings, allowing us to approach the situation with greater empathy and understanding.
Reflecting on Your Role
What parts have you played in these situations? Self-reflection is a powerful tool for personal growth and healing. It is essential to take an honest inventory of your actions and reactions during conflicts. Ask yourself questions such as: What was my motivation at the time? Did I communicate effectively? How did my emotions influence my behavior? By examining your role in the narrative, you can gain valuable insights into how your behavior may have contributed to the outcome. This process can be uncomfortable, as it may require you to confront difficult truths about yourself, but it is a necessary step toward resolution and reconciliation.
The Importance of Self-Forgiveness
Remember that you deserve as much forgiveness for yourself as you would afford your loved ones. This concept of self-forgiveness is often overlooked, yet it is vital for mental and emotional well-being. Just as we readily extend compassion and understanding to our friends and family when they make mistakes, we must learn to do the same for ourselves. Acknowledge that you are human, and like everyone else, you are prone to errors in judgment and miscommunication. Allow yourself the grace to move forward, recognizing that past actions do not define your worth or your future.
Writing with Honesty and Vulnerability
Write honestly and vulnerably about the situation. This act of writing can serve as a therapeutic outlet, helping you to process your emotions and clarify your thoughts. When you put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), strive for authenticity. Share your feelings, fears, regrets, and hopes. Embrace the discomfort that comes with vulnerability, as it can lead to deeper insights and a greater understanding of both yourself and the situation at hand. By articulating your experiences in an open and sincere manner, you not only honor your own journey but also create a space for healing and growth.
If this letter pertains to a relationship, it is appropriate to include a goodbye to the individual involved before finishing the letter. If you have truly allowed yourself to be vulnerable, honest and forgiving, you are prepared to bid farewell to the other party.
In conclusion, embracing the complexity of human experiences involves recognizing the multifaceted nature of conflict and the importance of self-reflection, forgiveness, and vulnerability. By acknowledging the two sides to every story, examining our roles, and allowing ourselves to forgive, we can foster a greater sense of peace and understanding in our lives.

THE NEXT STEP
Put The Letter Away
Once the letter is complete, put it away for 30 days while you mentally work on forgiveness and letting go (as stated in the letter).
Tell yourself that you are ready to forgive and let go multiple times a day, for 30 days.
After One Month
At the end of the month, take out the letter and read it again. If it stirs the same feelings you had before writing it, you might not be ready, or maybe you weren't entirely truthful with yourself. Revise the letter, set it aside, and give it another try!
If you’re truly ready to forgive and release the emotional trauma: take the letter outside and put it into a safe place to burn it.

BURNING THE LETTER
Envision the following while in the act of burning the letter.
Visualize The Following
Once you’re in a safe place try to visualize what letting go of someone’s energy looks like. Close your eyes. Imagine yourself covered in a beautiful galaxy of aural colours? What do you see? Find the negative/toxic energy! Does it look like a bit of black smoke amongst your colorful aura? Imagine that the wind carefully blows it completely away... Let it go! Don’t reach for it or energetically pull it back. Watch as it floats away and vanishes.
The literal burning of the letter signifies that the issue, situation or person (including yourself) no longer serves you positively and has now been forgiven and permanently released!
THE AFTERMATH
After The Burning Ceremony
Whenever anything regarding the situation or person pops into your mind, you will instantly remember the ‘forgive and release’ ceremony that you performed which will enable a hasty emotional and intellectual release.
Hey there, beautiful soul! I truly hope this process has been a game-changer for you and that you're now on the path to a brighter future. Wishing you incredible success every step of the way!
Love and light,
Christine
